This has probably been the easiest week for our English
class. We did not do much in our Monday class and didn’t have class on
Wednesday. I don’t know why we didn’t have class on Wednesday but I was not
complaining. I used the extra free time to reflect on my inquiry project and
brainstorm ideas on how I am about to complete my inquiry project. I like how
in Margarita’s Blog she questions if the environment or the people around you
have an affect on your ability to learn. I feel like this topic is very relatable
to me because in my midterm paper, I talked about how my peers and my
surroundings impacted my ability to learn. I don’t know if I should be excited
that freshmen year is coming to an end, its bittersweet moment. This year flew by, I
still remember my first night in college but on the other hand I’m also ready for summer to start! Only 7 more weeks!
I agree with what you said about how this year went by fast! I hope that college isn't like this every year.
ReplyDeleteDamn only 7 weeks? thats awesome haha. I think peers and other students have a lot to do with what we learn and how we learn. What people say influences us.. me reading this blog, and everyone elses blog influences me. I love college but I am happy summer will be here soon.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, peers have an huge impact on how you learn. Too busy worrying about how these people think whether you're dumb or smart rather than concentrating on the lesson fully.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree!!! Peers have been one of my influences positively and negatively. Positively I have a friend who goes to Chapel Hill who is a GENIUS with a 4.0 no less than a 3.6 and the deans list whom I try to remind myself of constantly that it can be done. Negatively Ive had peers that were all about partying so that's what I did for a while until it became boring to me lol. Imagine that.
